It’s Taylor Swift’s Economy, and We’re All Living in It

Most people think it is a Taylornomics, because when Taylor Swifts visit the country people tend to spend more money. When Taylor Swifts held a country, her fans visited and spent their money on their hotel, food, and bars. Taylor Swift’s 20 city Eras Tours had helped people to recover economically. 

Concert which started in March and ended on August 9 would be the biggest in concert history. Her concert was attended by more than 70,000 people. It helped the local business to recover from the pandemic situation. Local businesses started to do some marketing by selling doughnuts with her face or making new cocktails named after her songs. Furthermore, museums started to exhibit Swift’s costumes to attract her fans.

It felt as if people were enjoying the concert before COVID-19. According to the authorities in Vegas, the concert boosted visitor numbers to nearly pre pandemic levels. Moreover, most of the hotels said that the Taylor Swift concert was the strongest hotel revenue month in the city since COVID. Chicago and Minneapolis broke all-time records for hotel room counts while Swift performed there. The locals earn almost $48 million during Taylor Swift’s concert. Even people without the tickets came to visit the city to stay close to her. Moreover, while Swift performed, thousands of people came to the park and sang along to the concert.

The local business gained a lot of money nearby the concert by selling lavender haze cocktails named after Swift’s 2022 song. It was the venue that had the most sales since it had opened. People who had successfully received tickets spent more than hundreds of dollars on their costumes for the concert and some of them hired designers to make clothes that Swift wore in the music video. Furthermore people enjoyed the concert as they were exchanging friend bracelets decorated with beads which had the title of the song.
