Solar flares are able to disrupt electronic devices, whether it is your phone, a cell tower outside, or your grandfather’s old VHS. Whatever it is, if it has a circuit and runs on electricity, it is destined to malfunction, and cause issues. Electronics are not the ones who get their advantages lessened, People also get sick from solar flares, causing vomiting, fatigue, and low blood count. Satellites also get dragged to the atmosphere due to atmospheric drag. Radio waves and navigation systems can also have issues.

Electronic grids malfunctioning due to the solar flares can be fatal, if it is supplying a hospital or any other facility with a life support system. Telecommunications can also have issues, and it may cause slow internet speed or trouble getting connected to your grandparents. And for the ISS or other satellites, they will have flares or the meteorites who got a boost from all the solar flares, hit them anywhere including the solar cell, which may cause the satellites to go out of service if the solar flare is strong enough. Which means, if you are using a satellite connection and the internet connection plummets down to a whopping 1 Mbps when you signed up for a 400 Mbps plan, before you get angry at your ISP(Internet Service Provider) , try checking for solar flares.
